I love to read, I have trouble walking anywhere near a bookshop without wanting to spend too much money, I do not have a favorite genre or author, it is too difficult to choose! if I am in an easy readin kinda mood then I like a bit of fantasy, for a while it was anne rice and then I moved on to authors such as Phillip Pullman and Garth Nix, but from time to time I need to excersise my brain a little more and so will turn to the likes of Kerouac, Burroughs, Kundera, Ginsberg, Kafka and if I am feeling the need for a real challenge James Joyce. I do read nice normal bestsellers too though :) and very good some of them are too! I love a good story, Film, music, photography, art or books they are all about telling a story and when it is well done there is nothing better.
