I am here for Friends

About Me

Upright Bass player for a psychobilly band, car and bike builder, and welder. I love to tinker in my shop. Im a welder / metal worker. Building Cafe Racers and old school bobbers is a true passion for me. I love to read books about spirituality. I'll read just about anything on Buddism, Hinduism, WitchCraft, Native American Spirituality, Paganism, and Modern Primitives. Music and my son are my life, my consciousness, and pretty much occupies everything I do. Some of us go through life, taking what we are handed and simply believing that since the majority say that its right, than thats the way it should be. I choose a different path. Knowledge is power, one cannot grow without continueing to learn and be open minded. This is my son Ronan. My world.A couple of sights you should check out!! www.blackletter.org http://www.cb750cafe.com/

My Interests

Distant (rubicon ii)[September 1999]The paths that I once tread have all but gone. Only embers now smoulder where bridges once burned. I feel alive and yet I fear what may happen now. I know I can't return. And I hear me say again 'oh let me not return'. Damn the illusion of redemption and the hopes that held me here. I will oppose all that would befall me. With this rage inside of me I will defy what I would become. The solitude and anger that do battle inside me will always guide me to the answers that I know I may not see. They are the bonds that hold me tighter. They are the chains that weigh on me. One day I know they will be gone. Can I start again and erase this pain by casting doubts into the waters, asking judgement of the sea. Though fortune may guide to the fools I have no wish to be free until I am gone.© VNV Nation

Music:

I enjoy just about everything, from Psycho and punk, traditional billy and country. East Coast hardcore, and a bit of death metal as well. Industrial new and old. Music is my life and love, my passion, and pretty much what gets me up in the mourning and keeps me functioning throught out the day. The Quakes, Demented Are Go, The Creepshow, The Matadors, TigerArmy, A.F.I., Nekromantix, Meteors, The Peacocks, Dropkick Murphy's, Misfits, Blood for Blood, Mad Ball, Horror Pops, Social Distortion, Hank Williams, Hank III, Johnny Cash of course!!! Joy Division, Skinny Puppy, BauHaus,Throbbing Gristle, PTV, Thee Process, Wumpscut, Juno Reactor, Ogre, Cevin Key, I could go on and on with this list..... Just about everything you can think of. Music is my life and helps me through any apect there of wether it be the best of times or the worst.

Movies:

LOve the old horror flicks, vampire movies, Zombie movies and what not. Also dig any movie with a fifties angry rebelious teen style to it. Epic fantasy type movies are always fun, and movies about demons, god and the devil work for me as well.

Books:

DHARMA PUNX is a kick ass book my friend Pat recomended. Check it out folks. I love reading fantasy books. R.A. Salvatore is one of my favorite authors. Anne Rice, Poppy Z. Brite, D.J. Conway. My list of recommended book would be (even though I doubt anyone will actually read this) Just about anything by R.A. Salvatore, Dharma Punx, The Vampire Chronicles, The Chronicles of Narnia, Celtic Witchcraft by D.J. Conway, Three Can Keep a Secret if Two are Dead, THE LONG HARD ROAD OUT OF HELL MARILYN MANSON BIOGRAPHY.

Heroes:

PLEASE READ TO THE END...I saw you, hug your purse closer to you in the grocery store line. But, you didn't see me, put an extra $10.00 in the collection plate last Sunday.I saw you, pull your child closer when we passed each other on the sidewalk. But, you didn't see me, playing Santa at the local mall.I saw you, change your mind about going into the restaurant. But, you didn't see me, attending a meeting to raise more money for the hurricane relief.I saw you, roll up your window and shake your head when I drove by. But, you didn't see me, driving behind you when you flicked your cigarette butt out the car window.I saw you, frown at me when I smiled at your children. But, you didn't see me, when I took time off from work to run toys to the homeless.I saw you, stare at my long hair. But, you didn't see me, and my friends cut ten inches off for Locks of Love.I saw you, roll your eyes at our leather coats and gloves. But, you didn't see me, and my brothers donate our old coats and gloves to those that had none.I saw you, look in fright at my tattoos. But, you didn't see me, cry as my children where born and have their name written over and in my heart.I saw you, change lanes while rushing off to go somewhere. But, you didn't see me, going home to be with my family.I saw you, complain about how loud and noisy our bikes can be. But, you didn't see me, when you were changing the CD and drifted into my lane.I saw you, yelling at your kids in the car. But, you didn't see me, pat my child's hands, knowing he was safe behind me.I saw you, reading the newspaper or map as you drove down the road. But, you didn't see me, squeeze my wife's leg when she told me to take the next turn.I saw you, race down the road in the rain. But, you didn't see me, get soaked to the skin so my son could have the car to go on his date.I saw you, run the yellow light just to save a few minutes of time. But, you didn't see me, trying to turn right.I saw you, cut me off because you needed to be in the lane I was in. But, you didn't see me, leave the road.I saw you, waiting impatiently for my friends to pass. But, you didn't see me. I wasn't there.I saw you, go home to your family. But, you didn't see me. Because, I died that day you cut me off.I was just a biker,..... A person with friends and a family. But, you didn't see me.MAY IS MOTORCYCLE AWARENESS MONTH. PLEASE PASS THIS ON FOR YOUR FRIENDS WHO RIDE OR WHO MAY HAVE DIED WHILE RIDING
