To understand this secret society you must understand the mindframe that I was in when I decided to create it. First of all, I work at a job that I hate. Secondly I attend school every day, but it still seems as though I have not gotten any closer to graduation.
This being said, I decided that I needed to have a place or society if you will for me to do what I enjoy the most and not be judged for it. A place were I could meet other like mysef with the common goal and not be labled a drunk or the "A" word(Alcoholic). Just because I can drink a case of beer and still be witty enough to make a joke about how your mom sucks at giving blow jobs, doesn't mean that I have a problem.
Back to the point of this society. This Society will be used for a meeting place for the true lovers of BEER. I have started the first chapter of this Society in Michigan. I plan on branching out to Texas and from there the sky is the limit.
One thing that is important to each member of this society is the issue of drinking and driving. The Michigan BEER Lovers Society does not in anyway promote drinking and driving. We don't care how much you drink, just how you drink. Be smart.
I will be constantly updating this web site with local events for the greater Detroit area that we will be hosting. The most current event will be the first annual M.B.L.S. Beer pong tournament. I will be posting details about this event shortly.
Meanwhile, we will soon be posting information on how to join the society. Due to such a high volume of people eagerly wanting to join the society we will have to implement a application that must be completed and accepted by board members to join the Society.
