SO SADLY, HOBBYHORSE BERKELEY BRANCH HAS CLOSED. HOBBYHORSE HOPES TO REOPEN UNDER THE NAME OF COCOON IN THE BAY WITHIN THE NEXT 6-12 MONTHS! SEEKING INNOVATIVE DESIGNERS AND ARTISTS FOR THIS LOCATION!Before you purchase another factory produced item from a commercial retailer, visit Hobbyhorse, the new haven for unique clothing that is artfully handcrafted by local designers. Hobbyhorse showcases vintage from the 60's and 70's, handpicked by owner Jess Feury to complement her own clothing line "Magpie." Hobbyhorse hosts bi-monthly art shows in the back gallery. The shop also hosts events such as Knitty Gritty craft night and Shopper Social night (both on friday from 6-7pm). Hobbyhorse is home to clothing and accessory designers such as: magpie, dear birthday, tapiseria, bittersweet geneveive, creative control, kite flying society, sadie and mitzi, heather havestad, culture consumer, made by manda!, fieldday, purl drop and stranded. The Hobbyhorse is always seeking new designers and artists, so drop by and show us your wares!
