Anyhoo, I'm a big mad bastard who was born in Dumbartonshire, lived there til I was the tender age of 4 (anytime you say your age at some point in the past, its the law that you must precede it with "The tender age of"...), after which I moved to Gibraltar!
Quite a change I know! Life was good there, day trips to Spain, living near monkeys (always a plus!), nae grass or snow though. After spending 3 years there (1987 to 1990), I moved back to Scotland where I was summarily mocked as I had ended up having an English accent.
However, 4 years spent in my spiritual home of the AULD TOON! put paid to that, and my accent (later with the help of spending most of my time in Glasgow) became the impenitrable mess that it is now. Moved to the new toon where I remain to this day (sadly) in 1995.
Once a quiet yet odd young lad, I truly came out of my shell around 98 or 99, with a little help from my friends.
Started hinging aboot in Glasgow a lot, met some AAAAMAZIN'!!! folk, quality patter was always a priority. At this point I was also trying to do something with my life, enrolling at college to do music, realising how much mathematics were involved with acoustics, and thinking "gash as fuck!".
Met Joanna on the 11th of March, 2001, started seeing her on the 16th of April the same year, and we are still together to this day, I love her so much. As far as I'm concerned, she's the most beautiful woman alive as well as being my best friend xxx
After a few years in the wilderness as far as the "what in the name of the wee man am I gonna dae wi' my life?" stakes were concerned, I started college again with a new optimism, scooshed the Access course, blazed the HNC Communications course, currently doing the BA Communication (2nd year), and have met some cracking folk wi' guid patter along the way!
Got interested in making videos, have done 2 Biff Saxon videos so far with more to come!
I'm not the most successful, charismatic, talented or best looking guy in the world. But I'm happy with who I am and I'm happy with my life. It pure rips my knitting when folk are pure down on themselves. Cheer up! Live your life while you can before you're an old sod getting your arse wiped by a young honey who wouldnae touch you if it wisnae her job!
By the way, see where you put why your on here, like friends and relationships and that? How come you cannae put "shits and giggles"?
I care about my family and friends. I don't care about celebrity. I care about music. I care not for emo. Pish! They ruined eyeliner! Eyeliner wi' Glam and you look good. Eyeliner wi' emo and you look like a bumring. I like a laugh. I dislike dour faced percys. I respect creativity, even if I don't like the end result. I don't give a shit who wins X-Factor. I either like or dislike hypocrisy, depending on the context (sometimes its just plain funny). I like football, and I believe country is more important than club. I enjoy making videos. I love writing. Devin Townsend is a genius. I love a wind-up. I love excellent patter. Sharon Osbourne does my head in. I love Scotland. Manuel Enrique Mejuto Fernandes takes backhanders.
Why use myspace to look all moody and write bollocks like "I am pure dark. Like a dominatrix. Check me out. ROFL." when you can just talk shite, have a laugh, and meet fellow crazies and find some good bands? IT JUST MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE A CHUMP STAIN!
