The three with DJ FM(Psycho Realm) formed an all Cuban hard-core rap group The Reyes Brothers who performed regularly at the Whisky , The Roxy, the House of Blues and many other California venues. In the early nineties after peers introduced him to the Electronic music coming out of the Chicago,Detroit,UK, Cuban vowed to create a stateside movement of original production and less DJ’ing. Cuban’s involvement in Electronic music and Drum and Bass culture brought many original, live, underground performances throughout the California Jungle/Drum & Bass and party scene inspiring and motivating hundreds of thousands. This gave Cuban the unique position of influencing the West coast as one of the first artists to only perform original music live at events and not just play the records of others. All the while passing on the trade and instructing those who wished to learn. Cubans exposure in the rave culture of California and Hollywood hip hop scene eventually led to scoring for film , television and all forms of media music.
