About Me

Janice Dickinson, the world’s first supermodel, returns as an expert judge for the third cycle of UPN's AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL to offer her peculiar praises and often-sassy critiques to the aspiring top models. Dickinson quickly embarked upon what would become an ultra-successful career in modeling at the tender age of 14 and proceeded to break the mold of the classic American blonde beauty to become the first model to insist on being paid like a star -- and treated like one, too.By age 19, Dickinson had moved to New York City to pursue her career full-time. She was featured in the pages and on the covers of every major fashion magazine, including Vogue, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar Swimsuit Issue, Cosmopolitan and Playboy. She walked the runways in Milan and Paris and wore the clothes of the most prominent fashion designers, including Gianni Versace, Giorgio Armani and Calvin Klein. She was also featured in the ads of the most prestigious cosmetics companies, including Revlon, Max Factor and Clairol. Following her first book NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY: The Accidental Life of the World’s First Supermodel, Dickinson recently released her second book, entitled Everything About Me Is Fake . . . And I'm Perfect, which tackles the problems of society’s unattainable standards of beauty and reveals the secrets behind her own lifelong struggle to achieve perfection.Today, Dickinson’s life is gratefully centered on genuine friendships, a healthy lifestyle, an interest in photography and the joys of motherhood. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
