Reverse Osmosis is the HOTTEST A Cappella group at USC! "A Cappella" is the term used for "singing without instruments" - which means that what you are listening to right now is a bunch of college kids singing and doing vocal percussion! ZERO instruments!
In the last year, RO made USC history, being the first and only USC group EVER to compete in the FINALS of the 2006 International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella. We flew to New York and got to sing amidst the top 8 groups in the US, Canada, and England! Throughout the competition, we snagged Special Awards in ALL FOUR categories, and we ended up receiving the HIGHEST score of all the mixed groups in the finals! RO also proved to be the best mixed group on the west coast in the 2005 ICCA competition, and in 2004, we won the CARA (Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards) Best Mixed Collegiate Arrangement for our rendition of "Groove is in the Heart."
