What is there to say about me? I'm insane. I'm normal. I'm eccentric. Chaotic. Unstable. A walking contradiction only because I seek balance in too many things. I used to fall easily in love, now I'm tired for the moment. I miss the chaos of love and lust, though. I seek life. I do not fear death. I am impulsive, but growingly more aware of the consequences of living a real life. I am constantly disappointed, easily sucked in to something I perceive as good. I was born with the complete inability to calm my emotional disturbances. I am me. I am lost. I am found. I can't wait to get out of this next town.

My Interests

.

Reading, writing, loving and contemplating. I like to hang out with laid back people who don't create or surround themselves with drama. I love playing volleyball, but it now seems like a distant past time. I love camping and traveling. I LOVE BEING ON THE ROAD! Leave me in one town too long and I start to deteriorate. I love drinking and smoking. I like feeling outside of myself, probably more than I should or need to. Oh, well - everything's a process right?

I'd like to meet:

I decided I don't like this question - never have. To imagine a specific person you'd like to meet only makes for a potentially disappointing situation.EDDIE VEDDER'S DISAPPEARANCE:

Music:

I think I was screwed at birth because I love music so passionately that I should have been blessed with some musical ability, but instead I got not even an ounce. None the less, I will never abandon it and will continue, until death, to sing even if I hurt your ears doing so.This could go on forever, but I'll do my best : BOB MARLEY or any reggae really. TOP 4: PEARL JAM -- BEN HARPER -- JUMP LITTLE CHILREN -- DAVID GRAY --PEARL JAM is by far my favorite band. I think EDDIE VEDDER is an emotional and lyrical genious. I think BEN HARPER could be GOD. He has an amazing and spiritual essence that everyone in this world should experience. DAVID GRAY any of his shit just touches me or pushes me. I miss my irish/scottish roots. BRETT DENNEN is a new fav along with a lot of other folk music. You MUST listen to DEVENDRA BANHART. So comical yet philosophical all rolled up into a crazy quivering voice. I love DAVE MATTHEWS, the DOORS, JUMP LITTLE CHILDREN, RADIOHEAD is in a league of their own. BUSH is so underrated. Anyone who thinks BUSH is a joke should take the time to listen to some of Gavin's lyrics. They will morph the way you see reality and pain. NIRVANA rules - 'Unplugged' is one of the best albums ever produced. WILCO. VIOLENT FEMMES!! AMOS LESS WOW . . . JACK JOHNSON reminds me of my trip cross country to Idaho. THE BEATLES are a classic, and undeniably changed the face of music. Gotta love 4 Brits who can sing 400 songs about love in a million different ways and somehow make brilliant political statements in the process. THE STREETS are unlike anything I've ever heard before. FIOANA APPLE has perspective beyond imagination. She lulls me into a dream world (Listen to "I Know"). SUBLIME is my happy music, my smoking music, my ride aroud in my car in the SUMMERTIME just chillin music. On another note, just recently I've been exposed to some TRANCE/TECHNO, etc and it has grown on me. I like PAUL OAKENFOLD, AK1200, etc. Moving on . . . I like PHISH, but Trey Anastasio on his own is way better. I love soundtracks - I AM SAM soundtrack was the shit. Check out the 'Girl, Interrupted" soundtrack as well as Moulin Rouge, and Remember the Titans. Azure Ray - they drift into my soul and I let them take over. I love Norah Jones, Sarah McLaughlan. I love CAT STEVENS! (Eddie Vedder's rendition of Cat Steves' "Trouble"): I love jazz . . . not some bullshit CONTEMPORARY jazz, but the old school: MILES DAVIS, ART BLAKEY, JOHN COLTRANE, ETC. LOVE THE TEMPTATIONs. . . . AL GREEN, ELLA FITZGERALD.I like TRAIN a lot. Good lyrics. ROSEBUD will chill you to the bones. These guys are so incredibly talented - fucking musical protegies.COWBOY MOUTH are there own creation - a little roots of Louisiana and a lead singer who is a half naked, balls to the wall, sunburst of energy. Oh, did I mention he's their drummer - front and center.SADE drops me to my knees. She is amazing. Her voice itself sounds like an instrument. There are so many more, but I'm tired. But for now - peace . .

Movies:

Girl interrupted, White Oleander (but reading the book kind of made me hate it), Running With Scissors, Little Miss Sunshine, Steal Me, Alice In Wonderland, Boondock Saints, Romeo & Juliet, Requiem for a Dream, Waking Life, Blow, Bound, Cruel Intentions, Playing By Heart, Donnie Darko high fidelity, gattaca, fear and loathing in las vegas, shawshank redemption, pay it forward, virgin suicides, the professional,Memento, Moulin Rouge, Dead Poets' Society, count of monte cristo, basketball diaries, Walk the Line, The Neverending Story, The Notebook, The Phantom Tollbooth, Crash, Fight Club, Rules of Attraction, American History X, the Shipping News, American Beauty, Talented Mr. Ripley and others still to come.

Television:

If I don't have one I'm perfectly content. Yet, if I do have one at my disposale I tend to let it drone me. I usually just watch The L Word (hottest show on tv)Californication, The Tudors, Big Love, House, CSI, Nip/Tuck, Will and Grace, Law and Order SVU, Iron Chef America, and Grey's Anatomy.

Books:

BRIDGE TO TERABITHIA by Katheren Patterson- WHITE OLEANDER by far better than the movie- SNOW GARDEN by Christopher Rice- LIGHT BEFORE DAY by Christopher Rice- A DENSITY OF SOULS by Christopher Rice- RULE OF THE BONE by unknown - RANT by Chuck Palhinuck, PRETTY LITTLE MISTAKES (not sure who wrote that, but it's a fun read. Remember those cheesy choose your own adventure books? Well, it's a modern version of those. One path I chose: no college, travel to Europe - London this time - lived with a British transexual who I followed to Inia for a funeral and ended up dying from Hepititus A. The next time, instead of following he/she to India, I decided to go to Ireland. I met a beautiful woman (the narrator is a woman, by the way), but got married traveled the country, inherited a farm in Ireland and died happily ever after - after driving off a cliff in our old age) Fun read - check it out.
