The name Kanvaz, Pronounced like the painters canvass, is in a full embodiment of what music production should be. Lyrics are the paint but your art is only as quality as the canvass you paint on. Kanvaz strongly believes that track production has a 50/50 partnership if not higher with making a great song. He symbolically quotes, "To me my music is the soundtrack to life's movie, and the words are the motion picture. You cant have a blockbuster hit if both arent intact and original." After interning with one of the best behind the scenes rap and hip-hop producers in the business, he went on to cultivate his own styles covering every genre in the music business. A combination of being world traveled and his ability to produce on the spot and around any artists style has put him on top of the game in a short amount of time. "06 has been a blessed year for me, I've literally come from in the trenches of the military, to making my dreams come true, but this is only the beginning." Indeed, it is, with his constant studio work ethic and a God-given talent for out of the box production the world just isnt ready.

Kanvaz Klassix is a Houston based, production driven, independent label. "We just love music... Good music especially. We are fans in every facet of the word. We're passionate about what we do and look to do business with those who want to make REAL music, artists that Respect the game, have set goals, have budgets set aside to achieve these goals, and take risks to make their dreams come true. Remember this is an established business, all sales are contracted and recognized by publishing under ASCAP, all Business is done through the state recognized name of Urban Life Records. We also notice that the trend setters that people follow now were the ones who took risk in devoloping a new sound that was unique, and when that sound first came out people had to redefine what music was".

1 Q. What is that repeating voice through all the tracks?
1 A. The voice is actually saying Kanvaz Klassix the production company under Urban Life Records. That voice is called a vocal tag to ensure nobody tries to lift the song and put vocals over it---even though all my work has copyrights some still try to lift tracks for there demos---Hey it happens--so in the case of this happening it will have the Kanvaz Klassix tag letting everyone know I produced it-- as well as providing legal protection.
2 Q. How much do you charge?
2 A. Reasonable pricing. Music is an investment----Contact me for details
3 Q. Are you signing artist?
3 A. Yes and No. This is a production label. I make tracks. I produce, arrange, and write music albums for any genre. So yes in the since that we may sign an agreement to do the whole album top to bottom---but I do not fund the album project as a label would--such as putting money up for promotions, recording, payola (yes it exist sad to say)-Why? because I don't take cuts like a label would leaving artist with less than 7 percent of their hard work. I started this label for one reason affordable--professional music production for albums top to bottom. Not just the club bangers but that deep song talking about your momma too.
4 Q. How many tracks do your have?
4 A. I have alot of tracks!!! That's why it's so important to set up a listening party--I can only put up four non genre-specific songs at a time on myspace ----I've done----- Neo Soul-- R&B ---Pop---Rap ---- to Hip Hop
