So Little Time So Much To Do

About Me

An Aussie girl raised in Melbourne by an Egyptian father and Australian mother. Spent most of my school years at an all girls school- which seems an advantage during the time, but when you inevitably to move into the 'real' world - the one with the opposite sex- you discover maybe it wasn't the most advantageous way to develop social skills. It took a year to settle comfortably into University where I studied one year of film then moved into a Music Management course. Since then I have worked in the music industry -managing bands as a tour manager and local manager, working for a major label, starting up an independent label and all the other jobs that go hand in hand with that. During these years I have been fortunate enough to travel to Egypt, London, Berlin, France, LA, Greece, Edinburgh, Helsinki (only for a day but I loved the place) and I've had stopovers at the airports of Rome, Singapore, Hong Kong & Bangkok. My next travels hope to include Africa, NZ, Canada and more of the USA & Europe. I began dabbling into the film/documentary world to develop new skills, meet more people, travel and put the creative side of my brain to work in 2006. This interest landed me 2 feature films (one US film and one Bollywood film- quite a contrast but a quick way to learn the ropes) I currently work with Instinct Entertainment in Australia, though still have a hand in the music world as I can't resist my love for the evolving industry. And that is me in a nut shell- sorry for the cliches... P.S My favourite place in the world is THE FAMOUS SPIEGELTENT. www.spiegeltent.net
