PUSH! Montana a/k/a “The Fresh Prince of New York†is Hip-Hop’s next biggest superstar. A certified hustler from the streets of Brooklyn, his unique character and exciting life story makes his music and movement refreshing and innovative. The self proclaimed “Em-CEO†of Money In The Bank, LLC (M.I.B.) is applying the same passion for his music and business to create an authentic lifestyle brand capable of impacting and remaining at the forefront of Hip-Hop for many years to come.
In just his early twenties, PUSH! Montana is being well-recognized for his many talents and accomplishments, but most importantly for his persistence and determination to be the best. As a former all-city high school basketball star and now a successful “hood capitalistâ€, he consistently proves that he indeed cut from a different cloth. Although he is able to earn a great amount of notoriety, money and respect , PUSH! Montana has encountered hard times such as being on his own since the age of 16, loosing family and close friends to prison and murder and run-ins with the law. Through it all, he handles the pressure, stays humble and maintains what matters the most to him - honor, credibility and integrity.
What sets PUSH! Montana’s music apart from other rappers is his ability to make a wide range of quality songs that are full of substance and raw emotion. His rugged voice and charismatic delivery combined with his unique flow command the attention of all types of listeners. An enthusiastic fan of all types of music, the witty lyricist raps exclusively about his personal experiences in order to create vivid images that fans both connect with and appreicate.
PUSH! Montana says it best by stating “I don’t rap about stuff that I don’t have or things I haven’t experienced. The way I see it that’s cheating. How can you be true to yourself and what’s around you if you’re rapping about things you don’t have? Me, I speak about the moment and not through imagination.â€
In 2005, PUSH! Montana first gained notoriety as a rapper on the infamous diss song, “Disgrace to B.I.G.†with his friend and fellow Brooklyn rapper Maino (Huslte Hard/Atlantic Records). His performance on this track created an instant buzz in the New York City mix- tape circut. PUSH! Montana continued to win over fans worldwide with the mix-tape releases of The Fresh-Prince of New York: Volumes 1 and 2 and various appearances on Hip-Hop DVD’s such as Real Talk, Smack and Cocaine City. With recognition by the streets including Brooklyn legend Calvin Klein, PUSH! Montana quickly became one of hip- hop’s newest acts poised for greatness.
In 2007, PUSH! Montana began working on his forthcoming debut album with various top- notch producers and major label artists. During this time, he collaborated with producer Hi- Tek (Talib Kewli, 50 Cent, The Game) and was featured on the track “Kill You†(Hi- Teknology 3), which continues to draw critical acclaim from well-known online and print publications (The Source Magazine March 2008) for its vivid story-telling and razor-sharp lyricism. With a solid and growing fan base and the attention of a mainstream audience in place, PUSH! Montana is even more confident, focused and prepared to be one of the most influential rappers of his era.
