About Me

T.R.U.E. has music flowing through his veins. Northside St. Louis representer, T.R.U.E. is no stranger to the struggle, and it is evident in his music. His motto in life is; "Survive @ All Cost, Provide By All Means." T.R.U.E. is an extraordinary producer who sees music as scenes of life. He is coined "Tha Pulse of the City" because his music represents the heartbeat of St. Louis. His beats tell a story of its own, even without words. MC's must come with that REAL. If not, T.R.U.E. won't hesitate to bless the mic with lyrical venom that was meant to be on a Seventh Seal Production. In his own words; "I don't rap a lotta sh*t, but when i speak, treat it like scripture." T.R.U.E. was raised in the church, Metropolitan M.B. Baptist in Kinloch, where he started playing drums @ the age of 3, his brothers played piano & organ, sister was choir director, and father became a minister. T.R.U.E.'s family moved to Kinloch from Tuscaloosa, AL, then eventually made it to the west side streets of St. Louis. Determined to make a better living for his family, T.R.U.E.'s father worked three jobs and put himself through college in order to give the life to his children that he never had. T.R.U.E. credits the diligence of his father, the love, wisdom and prayers of his mother, the intelligence & strong will to succeed by his sister, and the hard lessons learned by his brother (hold ya head, Snookie... you'll be home 4 Thanksgiving), for keeping him level-headed throughout his life in the streets. Long story short, T.R.U.E. has seen it all, done it all & been through it all. But it was the birth of his 2 sons that ultimately saved his life. T.R.U.E. made a promise to himself, his family, his sons, and to God that he would make the most out of his life from that point on. T.R.U.E. has been on his grind for ten years, perfecting his craft, making sure that with each year that passes he is much further than the year before. With affiliations with C.A.Million Records, collaborations with esteemed St. Louis artists such as Ruka Puff (Supreme Team) & Young Ghost (Dirrty Pockets ENT), and countless shows under his belt, T.R.U.E. has definitely become just that; Tha Reigning Underground Emperor. His debut undergound release "The Storm" is an official underground St. Louis Classic. A true hustler, being co-CEO of Affiliated Families Entertainment with Aftuhlyfe member & lyrical beast Saudi IzReal, owning his own production company The Seventh Seal Productions, writing & composing, as well as being a provider as a single parent, T.R.U.E invites the best and the hungriest artists of St. Louis and the world to seek him out for beats, songs or networking. Be on the lookout for his second solo album "Soldier Story", Afthulyfe's debut "The Devil's Rejects", and Saudi IzReal's debut album of the century "St. Loc Misery", all to be released very soon. Also, look out for the re-release of "The Storm" revised, remastered and professionally distributed, as well as production credits from your favorite artists. ST.
