I'm a songwriter from a little unknown town in Massachusetts. Since I can remember music has played a big role in my life. I've been singing since I was a little kid but really got serious about music when I started playing guitar in the 8th grade. Since the town I grew up in didn't have much excitement, I focused most of my attention on music. Although I think recording is fun, my real enjoyment comes from live performances because I think that's the best way to connect with people. There is no greater feeling in the world than to create a song, play it live, and have everyone there singing YOUR lyrics with you and rocking out to what you're passionate about. The first time that happened to me I got goose bumps. It really is the greatest feeling in the world. My main band isSeduced By Madness (you can also check us out here on myspace as well). We've been together since we learned how to play and have never looked back. In no way is my solo album project a replacement of Seduced By Madness. It's just another way to express myself and let the creative juices flow. Even though I'm the songwriter of Seduced By Madness, I still wanted to write songs that were somewhat different from what I normally write for SBM. With this album worth of material at my disposal, don't be surprised if you start hearing SBM play stuff from my album too!
I started this "solo album" to release some musical creativity. I recorded all of this album at home using cheap software but I'm so proud of the way it came out (mostly because of the songwriting and not having to worry about paying a recording engineer overtime because I feel like working late). It felt good to be writing stuff that has no limitations when it comes to styles. Whatever I felt like writing, that's what I did. The album has 14 complete tracks and totals 73mins. I will release this for anyone who wants it. I also plan to start a supporting band for this project so if you play an instrument and are interested in taking part of this please contact me. I hope you enjoy listening to these songs as much as I did creating them.
