About Me

Born Rontavis Shamar Walker in the small town of Thomaston, GA, Shamar quickly realized that he did not want his current surroundings to become his future reality. He decided to start developing his entrepreneurial spirit at the age of ten starting his first business helping his family save money for a small percentage. He then graduated to selling school supplies throughout elementary school, then candy in middle school and early high school. Shortly after arriving to high school, Shamar fell in bad company and began his relationship with drugs and street culture. Because of his entrepreneurial drive, he had no difficulty fitting in with the hustlers and dealers. He started his street hustle by selling knives and ended it shortly after he began selling cocaine. At the age of sixteen, Shamar replaced his love of the streets with a burning passion for God. He began teaching, then preaching the Word of God. Since, receiving his ministry license in 2003, Shamar has continued to experience lifes many ups and downs. He is still a successful entrepreneur, but has also taken on the titles of investor, author, speaker, husband and most recently father. At twenty-two years of age, Rontavis Shamar is currently promoting his second book, On Track, to the Kingdom. He is also the author of The Lost Works of a Lost Soul. Both of which can be found at www.RShamar.com.Rontavis Shamar is a member of New Macedonia Baptist Church in Riverdale, GA, but is currently assisting his father who is the newly appointed Pastor of New Pleasant Grove Baptist in Forest Park, GA.
