Born and raised in Quisqueya,Bohio;commonly known as the island of HAITI.AMEGO was brought up listening to all kinds of 'muzik',from Kompa to ROOTS...from RAP to REGGAE...from RnB to DANCEHALL...to ROCK and etc. He wrote his first lyrics in grammar school for a girl whom he had a crush on.The writing,obviously,did not stop there,he penned scripts for school plays with his classmate and friend Patrick Joachin in which they starred in. In his early High school years,he started covering songs of then-famous artists (local and international) such as:ZIN,LAKOL,O.R.S.,MASTER G,SHABBA RANKS,CHAKA DEMUS,SALT N PEPPA,MC HAMMER etc...He was the top m.c. of his class,with the confidence he earned from singing other people's songs,he started writing RAP lyrics for himself and other upcoming artists,freestyling from classroom to classroom, 'hood to 'hood,city to city... When they ask him what makes him different from other artists,he responded confidently,"simply because I can marry the beat and the lyrics easily with no chance of divorcin'em,ever.And I'm a lyricist in three languages(French,Creole,English)perfectly,so it's easy for me to reach way more people than a lot of cats,you feel me"...? His music is written in the language of the ghetto,it's the echo of the pained soul,the voice of the broken hearted,the guide of a lost generation;it's music that brings joy and makes you jump. In addition to writing hip hop lyrics,he has been writing poetry for over a decade,he's preparing himself to release his first book of poem. In 2006,he gave Miami underground rap scene a taste of fresh air when he dropped the club banging "yon da yon da" and the soul quencher "tryna stay alive" with his group "LANGUAJ GHETTO".In 2007,he promised the streets the best sweeping since 50 cent... His first mixtape is scheduled to be released in late April,entitled "It's been a longtime comin':da krenglish experience vol1".It's bound to be a smash hit in the streets...So be on the lookout!!!!
