Urbanwear Retailers Top New Pick, The Rod Elam Collection, hits stores….For Immediate Release1/22/2007-NEW YORK-On October 15th, 2006, the much anticipated Rod Elam outerwear collection hits retail racks across the U.S. The companies’ first shipment will be delivered to urban retailers in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Houston, & Ohio as well as other cities. With over 60,000 pieces coming in, retailers are already anticipating early reorders. This years line includes hooded leather jackets in vibrant hues, trendy wools, and Mr. Elams signature varsity with the embossed “Rowdy†logo. Mr. Elams designs will retail between $200-$450 along with competitive brands such as Pelle Pelle, Averix, LRG, and more. This years line has captured the attention of high profile wardrobe/fashion stylist from BET, Young Jeezy, Akon, and home of Rick Ross’ label Slip-N-Slide Records. The public had it’s first glimpse of the line, with the soft launch of the 2006 Ad Campaign in August. The Fix Your Fu@k!n F@ce Ad features a reconstructed Rowdy Logo, and Philadelphia Billboard Hit artist: “Gillie Da Kid†wearing a Rod Elam jacket with a hand sewn rowdy face. Popular retailers in Philadelphia will be hosting Rowdy Launch Instore Parties starting October15th.
