MIND

The submetal band MIND was formed March 2004 by four guys close to the capital of Norway, Oslo. The general idea which founded the project was to build a new line through the norwegian hard rock and metal genres. The ambition of the band is to fill the void between the heavier rock which has dominated the music scenes for almost a decade, and the traditional black metal which always has had its crowd, independent from the waves of modern music fashion. To do this, there had to be members with similar goals and music taste involved. Despite the various musical experiences of MINDs inhabitants, their ideas are generally very much alike.MIND has had the same line up since the beginning of the band, but we have now replaced our old drummer which plays on the Beautiful Aggression album with a new, big talent: 17 year old(!) Kristian Horn. The contrast and variety is also the core of the music and most essential element to make the band stand out from the crowd of mainstream rock and metal bands, not to mention a very powerful and interesting live-show.
