About Me

I got my start DJing at parties many years back. It wasn't until 1998, during my days at the ELEKTRIK KAFE Record Store in Pomona California, that I got the chance to do it every week. After working there for a while (managing the store and running the merch tables we had set up at clubs like das bunker, repent, kontrol faktory, absynthe, paradox and others) I more than quadrupled my cd collection and opened my own club at the store called NEURO-TEK with my partners DJ Aron and DJ Bractune (das bunker, perversion). Eventually this led to me doing guest DJ spots at clubs like Conspiracy, Corrosion, The Royal Blood Lounge, and Domination and periodically for regular FALLOUT SHELTER events. When the store closed I took the club to the Vault and then the Tiki Room in pomona with DJ Shadowdancer taking Aron's place. After nearly a two year run with events like "The Battle Of The DJs" featuring DJ Kris Klink (kontrol faktory, das bunker), DJ Raoul Rotation (NOISEX), and DJ Reel Eyes (JUGEND STAAT) and a performance by IMPERATIVE REACTION, we shut the doors after realizing that having a successful bi-weekly club of that type in an area like pomona was just not possible. I went back to DJing parties here and there until running into DJ Jedi who ran CLUB LATHE back in the EK days. After working with him and DJ Johnny Quest for a while, I eventually got back into doing clubs after a few guest spots at Club Metro on fridays. I then started spinning for them at many of their clubs. CLUB LATHE (@ picassos and twins), NORAD (@ twins), and EMPIRE (@ gotham and antonios) to name a few. For a while I had been on hiatus working on music with a few bands doing everything from songwriting and composition to remixes and club edits (like my edit of "Outdated Concepts" by CAPACITOR ). During that time I occasionally did guest DJ spots here and there to stay active. In 2007 I was also a resident DJ for INFIRMARY in Garden Grove and guest spun @ clubs like DAS BUNKER in Los Angeles, THE CHAMBER in Anaheim, and VECTOR in Las Vegas. But currently my main focus has been my musical projects (listed on the left) and being a resident DJ at CLUB SKANDAL every saturday night in Riverside

He's my hero! Who else but the king of one liners could make the word "groovy" cool again? I mean, wouldn't it be fun to just follow him around all day with a boom microphone and record him as he says everyday things. Just think about that for a minute. How could that ever get old?!

By the way, if you checked out this page hoping to read something a bit more personal about me... you won't. I'm sorry, but this page only exists to display my DJ history, and to keep in touch with people here on MySpace who know me IN REAL LIFE (friends and collegues). Plus, knowledge isn't cheap (unlike your mom). If you want to know something about me, you'll have to find out the old fashioned way (ask your mom).

Also, just for the record, FRANKENSTEIN was not a zombie. Thank you.
