My name is Patrick Pfeffer, but many of my friends just call me Pfeff. I'm the owner of Club La Vela, the largest nightclub in the USA. If you've never been there, here's the link: www.clublavela.com.
To some extend, my club reflects my personality. On one hand, I am creative, original, and extreme in more ways than one. On the other hand, despite my notoriety, I am a private person and wished I had more time to spend away from the clubscene. I take pride in my ingenuity and novel approach to complex problems, I'm always on the move, and never stand still. Like life itself, I constantly reinvent myself. I have made many friends over the years, and nothing and no one is dearer to me than my genuine friends.
Besides being a clubowner I am also a practicing attorney. I graduated from the University of Miami School of Law and practice law in state and federal court. I've been called many things, but one thing that I'm not is mundane or boring.I enjoy meeting new people and networking with industry insiders. I'm originally from Germany and I'm proud of my european heritage. Yes, I do speak fluent German. Though I live an extraordinary life I consider myself a humble guy...however, I am intense, energetic, passionate, and too much to handle for some people; - It's ok though because I think that is exactly what makes me interesting.
I have an endless imagination and enjoy getting lost in my dreams. I have an eye for style and appreciate artistic beauty. I like fast european cars, designer wear, exotic foods, French Champagnes and Russian Vodka. Nevertheless, I also appreciate the simple things in life and always treat others the way I would want to be treated.
People often ask me about my work philosophy and I always tell them the same thing: There are two kinds of people in life...the ones that make it happen, and the ones that watch it happen...its up to you to decide which kind of person you want to be. In the end though, people don't just remember you for what you accomplish, but for who you are and the permanent impression you leave on their persona. Just like there are only so many hours in a day, ther are only so many years in a lifetime. You only have one life to live and this is it! Live it well, and chose your friends carefully.
