My Interests

I love music (all except country...I never did get into that twangy cowboy-lovin' deer-huntin' whiny crap). I'm a Queens of the Stone Age and Josh Homme lover. I am an avid reader and am currently Augusten Burroughs' biggest fan. I love to draw and paint, as always. I enjoy trying new foods and wines. And, last but not least, I'm a horror movie junkie and a George Romero worshiper.

I'd like to meet:

Josh Homme, Hugh Laurie, Dean Winters, Gunnar Hansen, Tobe Hooper, Tom Savini, Adrienne Barbeau, Linnea Quigley, Augusten Burroughs, Stephen King, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Rainn Wilson, Jason Lee...yeah, they're all celebs of sorts but they all seem like they'd be the down-to-earth, unpretentious types.

I've been fortunate to have met: George A. Romero, Ken Foree, Gaylen Ross, David Emge, Scott Reiniger, Joe Pilato, Gary Klar, Lenny Lies, Jennifer Baxter, Eugene Clark, Courtney Gaines, Priscilla Barnes, Bill Moseley, Sid Haig, Michael Berryman, Kyra Schon, Greg Nicotero, Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, Betty Aberlin, Barbie Wilde, Doug Bradley, Simon Bamford, Eileen Dietz, Barbara Nedeljakova, PJ Soles, and a shitload of other people I am too tired to list at the moment!

Music:

Queens of the Stone Age, Stone Temple Pilots, Good Rats, Alice Cooper, Catch 22, Nirvana, Hole, Zeppelin, The Doors, The Who, and various others.

Movies:

Dawn of the Dead (1978, dudes, not the new one), Day of the Dead, Night of the Living Dead, Zombie, Clerks, Schindler's List (I still cry during the same scenes every time!), Chasing Amy, Shaun of the Dead (You've got red on you), various other horror flicks...

Television:

House, The Office, My Name Is Earl, Family Guy

Books:

Anything by Augusten Burroughs (I suggest you pick up "Running With Scissors"). My favorite book from my youth is Stephen King and Peter Straub's "The Talisman".

Heroes:

George A. Romero, Stephen King, Alice Cooper, Tom Savini, Greg Nicotero, and my Anthony.

Movie of the Week: 28 Weeks Later

Now, those of you who truly KNOW me know that I am a zombie freak. You also know, then, that I am extremely picky about zombie movies. I love zombies, but you just can't thrust a zombie anywhere you...

I lost my mouse

This morning, my cats were acting weird, staring at the mouse's (Elmer's) cage on the top shelf like never before. It was in a glass cabinet so they couldn't get in, so I didn't get what the sudden i...
