Dead Passion's Curse was first formed in early 2005 by the fallen members of two previous Gainesville legendary bands, Wahrheit and Enitor. Once the union was completed, they entered new depths of darkness and atmosphere focusing musically on themes of Fantasy, Mythology and the Occult, unlike anything Gainesville has ever seen
We are lovers of "true" black metal in the sense that we define our sound however we please. We believe black metal is about freedom, individualism and not giving a fuck about what people think of us. We enjoy and respect many different styles of metal and music in general and refuse to restrict ourselves creatively to fit in the narrow mold of whats expected. The Heaviness of our music shall speak for itself.
Every band must build on those who came before them and we pay tribute to our influences while at the same time carrying the tourch of evil into the future, representing the next wave of the genre.
