Q. How long have you been Playing together?
A. Joint Custody is a new band to the Peoria area. Although we have
been playing as a group for only two months, we have been friends for
a long time and have been in several other projects with each other over
the years.
Q. What other bands have the members been in?
A. Other bands we have been a part of include King Orange, Higher
Ground, Short Change, Blue Magoo, Rochness Monster, Bonanza
Jellybean, The River Rats, Freudian Press, Jamm Sammich, and many
more.
Q. Who is in the band?
A. It's members are Cherry Whitaker on vocals, Kim Thomas ..s,
Marc Crusen on bass, Josh Means on guitar, Ryan Wyss on percussion,
and Wes Duffy on drums.
Q How would you best describe your sound?
A, Joint Custody's sound can be best described as a mixture of funk, rock,
and soul, covering such bands as Aretha Franklin, The Beatles, Rufus &
Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, Grace Potter,
Amy Winehouse, The Grateful Dead, Ray Charles, and Joe Cocker.
Q. How did you come up with your band name?
A The band name is was inspired by the fact that most members are
now playing in other bands as well, which makes booking gigs a
challenge since Cherry has only Joint Custody of the
musicians on the weekends

A. We pretty much just rock....all the time! :)
