About Me

I'm just a old hip hop head who loves all aspects of the culture. I'm 33...I've been rhyming since like...1986...started off as a beat box for my man "MC John from Beyond" lol I started to see the attention he would get from girls after an improv class room spit,(only when we had a substitute!!) or a cafeteria cypher. So I figured I could do it just as good as him, if not better. So here I am like...19 years later still doing it as a hobby. At the time, I had only heard of Run DMC and Slick Rick...Then The Fat Boys..Beastie Boys...T La Rock, Just Ice..Dana Dane...I loved it because of the humor and the story telling abilities of the artists.Graffiti was big at the time before all this gang BS. I used to stare at pieces by Prince (hooterville) and VOS and wonder how it felt to have your name everywhere and just be known and respected for your skills.I started off with the "Hello...My name is" stickers...I used to write SAINT or NIC/FSK and take bus rides to Hackensack,Paterson, wherever and smack the shits on phonebooths and mailboxes...the stickers was in spired by TYR ONE!!! that dood was a beast 4 a minnit...Later,around 1993 I discovered that there was another side to hip hop music... rather than the stuff I was being fed by commercial radio and BET and MTV. My homeboy Rodney aka Dog Ra Dog put me on this station that broadcast from Columbia University, 89.9FM hosted by my peoples Bobbito and DJ'd by Stretch Boogie aka Stretch Armstrong...I was also given an opportunity to freestyle live on the air here. : ) I also found out thru this show that there were other artists coming out of Jersey at the time other than Naughty and RedMan...(Peace to them nukkas)I heard about Tame,Govmattic good looking for that and D Don, Raggedy Man...Tone the Butcher...aww man...plus it's the only time I heard profanity on the air! Jenna von Oy is the bomb, too.Peace

My Interests

I love to freestyle in my car to a 30 track instrumental CD...I like to battle and write rhymes .....I know...I'm 33...but I did the street corner cyphas..the cafeteria thing...the studio thing...now since I'm semi-retired..lol...it's the cyber cypher thing, you can say.
