Sounds Like: The “Jason goes to Hell” started in september 1994 with the meeting took place between Enrico Cerrato and Davide Santin, bass guitar and drums respectively, and the two guitars Fulvio Cerrato and Andrea Stroppiana.In may 1995, the J.G.T.H. appear for the first time live in public playing covers of Metallica, Megadeth, Sepultura, Pantera and some trash themes composed by themselves.In summer 1996 Davide leaves the band and is replaced, after a year long search, by Marco Boffa, then drummer with the “Mindsnare” death-sters.With the new line-up the music proposed by the Asti’s combo moves towards the most classic Death Metal.In summer 1997 the J.G.T.H. play for the first time at Town of Bra’s “Notterock” and at the K.A.S. party in Alba as support to the “Angeli”.From January to June 1998, with the arrival of the new drummer Riky Porzio, the band plays at the 1st “Heavy Canelli”, at Alba’s “Cortile Animato”, at the “Nuvolari libera tribù” of Cuneo, and at Turin’s “Mary Jo” with the Interitus.The band’s genre evolves further: the composition of own music becomes stringent and, at last, in July of that 1998, the J.G.T.H. record their first mini CD: “Sickness in nature”.The four songs mix a brutal acoustics death metal with more Scandinavian melodic parts, more technical and syncopated parts with tighter riffs. The texts are an open provocation against a society where many people’s hypocrisy deeply feeds.The product is reviewed on the best specialized magazines with very good marks (Metal Hammer 3/5) and one of their pieces gets inside “Down of Gods”, a compilation distributed throughout Europe.With this formation, after the coming out of the CD, the J.G.T.H. support the Sadist in Lu Monferrato and the Labirinth in Alba.In spring 1999 the band plays with the Mindsnare in Turin and with the Scomunica in Voghera; other dates in Turin, Alba, Vercelli and Porto Tolle (Rovigo) follow.In the year 2000 the bass Enrico and the drummer Riky leave the band to give birth to the Infection Code. Therefore, Andrei Shvedov, bass, and Federico, drums, enter the Jason, forming the present group of the band.The proposed genre gets more and more extreme features.With this line-up the attention is mainly to making several own pieces. Few are the live performances credited (Young Centre in Asti, Valalla pub in Alessandria) even though they had a good reception by the public.And so, in 2005, after a long work, the second CD of the band, titled “Warning: Ignorance 120%” comes out and is introduced on april 29th at the Bistrò Pub of Villafranca d’Asti.The CD has very good reviews and high marks everywhere (http://www.metallized.it/recensione.php?id=812). In the following two years the band is active in the Piemonte live scene and beyond.At the present time the Jason are working over their third CD.
