About Me

I'm a Communication Studies major. I'm a writer with a horrible case of writer's block. I'm a city girl who's been dropped in the middle of Nascar Country. Literally. My biggest goal and desire in life is to move back to New York City. There are some places where every synapse of your mind ignites and things just click. For me, it's in the city. Did I mention I'd love to be an acclaimed writer? I'm also much nicer than I seem.
I talk too much and I sometimes act like a thirteen year old boy. I learned that burning bridges is not always permanent. I love watching movies and listening to songs that remind me of falling in love, of heartbreak, of high school, of things beginning and of things ending. I'm intrigued by the tangibility of it all and I love when a subtle camera angle or a soft progression of chords encapsulates that feeling.
. art fag . cinephile . chain smoker . nymphomaniac . intellectual . random . "vicious cunt of a writer" . music fiend . "totally not depressing" . camera whore . astrological buff . demented . spiritual . voracious reader . car karaoke queen . web design mistress . nyuorican . poet . biter, scratcher, hair puller . extroverted . dreamer . volatile . lover . devoted . "sarcastic, gothic, weird, yet likable" . amazing .
Planned achievement is overrated. Reckless arrival at thirty is much more rewarding.
We only ask advice when we know the answer to the question but refuse to believe it.
Being a writer means everything is relevant all the time.
We've seen it all, from bonfires of trust to flash floods of pain.

I'd like to meet:

Chicken fucking, roadkill eating, pitchfork toting hillbillies with more hair than teeth and braincells. As well as sadistic, small furry rodent mutilating sociopaths who live in their mother's basement and enjoy eating picked scabs and hangnails. Also, people who are laid back. People with thought out opinions. People who don't go off on holier than thou tangents. People who love movies. People with poetry in their souls. People who love music. People who love politics and metaphysical ideals, interspersed. Creative types, art fags, pretty people, happy people, people who feel the first Matrix was the best one, people who are actively pursing an end to writer's block, people who find pet names for electronics disturbing, people who are disturbing, honest people, people who get on soapboxes when they are talking about things they feel strongly about.
I'd list a group of names; somehow I think my music, movie, and literature picks are pretentious enough.
