The purpose of OmahaBars.com is to promote the local bars and nightclubs in the Omaha and surrounding area. The website appeals to a wide demographic of site visitors (21 years of age or older please) who are looking to find information on a particular venue, or to find a particular hangout based on their criteria.
We provide a directory of local clubs, bars, taverns, and "dives" - whatever you want to call them - which includes the venue information as well as any other provided details that will help you choose the location that best suits your needs for the night. Our goal is to get every venue listed - large or small - so that you know where to go to get the most accurate information!
In addition to the bars, we strongly support the local live music scene. As you will see from our Local Bands page, Omaha has a LOT of very hot bands.
An important part of our mission is to promote the great city of Omaha. Regardless of the information on this site, we always encourage responsible behavior when drinking, and ask that you please don't drink and drive - it's not worth it.

Computers and most electronic crap (aka "GEEK"). Also love to do home improvement stuff - remodeling/landscaping.

Music:

I like just about all kinds of music. My iPod is loaded with everything from Toby Keith to Josh Groban, from Def Lepard and AC/DC to Beyonce, Fergie, and Rihanna.

Just recently saw Gwen Stefani (HOT), Justin Timberlake / Pink, Christina Aguilera / Pussycat Dolls, and Def Lepard (again) with Journey.

If you haven't been the Qwest Center in Omaha, it FRICKIN' ROCKS!

Television:

BIG 24 fan, LOVE The Office ("That's what she said") and Scrubs. Damn that's a funny show. Strange, but funny. Also love BIG Bang Theory. A bunch of geeks who are smart as shit, but can't figure out how to deal with women. Ahhh, too familiar (wait, I'm not that smart!)

During the Writer's strike, I was forced to look for other avenues. Got "re-hooked" on King of Queens and Seinfeld during late night TV. Also enjoy guilt pleasures such as DIRT and Nip-Tuck.

Being a home owner, I find myself watching "house" shows a lot. Yup, I'm a DIY'r.

What I DON'T LIKE is the local news. If you are from Omaha, you know that our local news sucks. There are a few that are ok, but otherwise they could all just go away.
