Influences: In 2007 long time partners in crime Jamie and Bill started Porkbelly with Mike and Joe in order to show people in Omaha how a bunch of drunk fuckers rock it out. In early 2008 Zack joined the band as lead vocals to add fuel to the alcoholic fire. Porkbelly is a Southern Rock / Metal / Sludge band out of Omaha, Nebraska influenced by Riding Bikes, Alcohol Induced Partys, Pounding Beers, Jack Daniels, Texas Hold'em, Grilling, and Beer in Hand Horseshoe Tournaments.
Sounds Like: A little bit of Down, Pantera, Black Label Society, Alice In Chains, Fear Factory, CoC, and other great bands mixed together.
