Seizure were formed in the late 80s under the moniker Joint Effort.
The lead singer/guitarist was John Grealish,the drummer was Raymond,Hengi on bass,
Fab on lead guitar and Notch on Keyboards/organ and BVs .
Band record first demo.
1990
Band changes name to Seizure.
Raymond leaves ,replaced by Andy Prestidge on Drums.Hengi leaves, Vince plays bass.
Three more demos made.
1993
Andy leaves and joins Mint 400.
Fab takes on the drums.Mark Prisco joins on lead guitar.
Fifth demo produced.
1994
Vince leaves ,James King Joins briefly on Bass.Mark,James and Notch all leave…..and then there were 2!
1995
Notch and Hengi return ,and the line up stays unchanged from here…..
Another demo in ’96.
1998
Dave Stewart’s Anxious Records show an interest.
Standing Fast EP is recorded at The Crypt.
Things don’t go as planned and negotiations stop.
Two final demos are recorded ,then it all ends.
Throughout the 90s,Seizure would play many memorable gigs alongside the likes of
The Trudy ,Glenn Matlock And The Phillistines,The Libertines and French darlings Autour De Lucie .
