That's all...

About Me

OK, since it's been over a year since I started this thing, I decided my bio needed a re-vamp! The essential info hasn't changed much - I'm still Kristin, I still live in De Forest, and I still have the same wise ass personality I always have. That being said, some other, less significant things have changed. First one is my education. I shifted gears from School Psych to Business Admin last fall, and enrolled myself at Edgewood College in their MBA program. Following suit, I left the Autism Project, had a brief (and I mean BRIEF) stint at Chamberlain Research Consultants, then landed my current job in Accounts Receivable at Jaeckle Distributors. Overall, I'd say I'm pretty content with where my life is at, although there are definitely areas in need of improvement. (wink wink) Those of you who know me well know what those areas are, and those of you who don't know me don't NEED to know! ;-) Now if that sentence isn't enough to make your head spin, I don't know what is. But that's who I am - so either deal with it, or get the hell out! ;-)And I guess that's about it! If you'd like to get to know me better, feel free to drop me a message. But please don't send me a friend request so I can become your 3 billionth friend on here. Collecting friends like that is stupid, childish, and should be prosecuted in a court of law! That's all - peace out! K

My Interests

Okay, here goes..movies, shopping, bowling, darts, pool, bingo, amusement parks, clubbing (sporadically), skating (both ice and roller), reading, and anything else that seems like it might be fun! I'm also somewhat of a daredevil, so I like extreme activities like bungee jumping, parachuting and the like. Some people say I have a death wish. I say that I like living on the edge!

I'd like to meet:

Real people that are funny, friendly, energetic, witty, and easygoing.

Music:

Anything and everything goes - Paul McCartney, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Evanescence, Kelly Clarkson, Bon Jovi, The Bangles, Josh Groban, Bobby Darin, Celtic Woman, Air Supply, Heart...and so on! I'd list 'em all, but we'd be here till 2010!

Movies:

I'm a sucker for sequels and trilogies, if they're executed properly. Classic examples include Lord of the Rings, American Pie, and Austin Powers (in case you couldn't tell by the layout). Other non-sequel, non-trilogy favorites include Animal House, Blues Brothers, Jaws, Silence of the Lambs, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Remember the Titans, Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, Dumb and Dumber, Liar Liar, The Jerk, Planes Trains and Automobiles, Fried Green Tomatoes, Forrest Gump, Monster, Chicago, Grease, American Graffiti, The Breakfast Club....OK, I'll stop now! You get the idea!

Television:

The Daily Show (with Jon), The Tonight Show (with Jay), Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, American Idol, The Price is Right, Unsolved Mysteries, Wife Swap, Trading Spouses, The Simpsons, Full House, and Dr. Phil. And yes, you can call me a geek later - I really don't mind! :-)

Books:

Hmmm...this one's tough. I love the Harry Potter books...they're such easy reads and transcend generations. I also enjoy books about the film and television industries, like Nancy Grace's Obsession. Those would probably be my top two choices!

Heroes:

My parents, first and foremost (and yes, I know it sounds cliche, but it's true.) Then, after them, I'd have to say all of the troops over in Iraq fighting for our country. I may not agree with the politics surrounding the war; nonetheless, I fully support those that are over there doing their duty and risking their lives in the process.

My Blog

Blast from the past.

OK, so those of you that know me, and have been involved in my life for the past 6 or 7 years probably know where this is going.  But even though I (and probably you as well) feel I'm beating a d...

Just a little rant...
