I realize how hard it is to be in the multitude of the many, especially in the day and age of myspace, facebook, and all the new ways bands have of recording their own cd's. Suddenly, it seems that anyone can produce and sell their own cd's. So standing out in a crowd has become more difficult, and its a huge challenge to get your original music the attention it deserves.I feel there is no replacement for actually getting out and being heard live in the venues. Its the only real way to show off your stage presence and talent as musicians, and i want to help you get out there to the venues so you can show the world what you have to offer! Therefore, I want to get the word out for you first of all with bookings and also through promotional activity. I will promote your music and venue dates in as many ways as we can find to benefit you, by drawing the maximum crowds. Large amounts of people at your shows not only benefit your music, but the venue then sees you as beneficial to their business. Ultimately creating that win/win situation and ups your worth. This can substantially raise what you get paid by a venue for future shows. We will do what you need by both combining booking and promotional efforts, as long as you also are working at your venue success by keeping in close contact with your fans and letting them know yourself what events you have coming up.

As for my exp[erience in the industry, i have 13 years as a touring PA, and i'm a musician as well. Therefore, i understand what it takes, and what it means to you, and will go to any length (within reason) to get each bands individual needs met! I am by no means an expert, so advise by my peers is always taken to heart.

As far as bookings go, I am interested in working with those bands that want to get out and about. Through the combining booking & promotional support my goal to provide you with the tools to get your original material heard is then achieved. So get those demo's, videos, cd's, press kits, ect.. ready! The more i can present, the better the venue. Yes even with age of myspace, many venue reps like something they can read and hear in their hands. It shows you are willing to put in the extra efFort it takes to be considered over the masses looking to book that venue. To a venue you are a commodity, and the better the packaging the more the rep will consider you. Its just like marketing any product, and we all know that good looks sell!

As far as the availability of venues for booking is concerned, I am always working at finding & forming solid relationships with new venues all over the country so bands wanting to travel can play different venues going out and coming back to their home towns without having to playing the same club twice if they don't want to!(KEEP IN MIND THAT EACH BAND'S TOURS WILL BE DETERMINED BY AVAILABILITY OF VENUE'S THAT FIT YOUR SPECIFIC TYPE OF MUSIC) One band's tours will be not be just like another bands. Every band's needs and popularities in certain area's are different."EVERYTHING" IS SUBJECT TO THOSE NEEDS BY "BOTH" VENUES & BANDS. With that said, i won't blow smoke up anyone's butt, if i say i have it booked, it will be or it won't be said, & i expect the same respect from you. If you say yes to a venue or date, i expect you to follow through on your word. (unless there are special cricumstance's out of your control, of course) There are going to be more bookings available for those with "only" original material & labeled acts doing club based venues. And most venues are only booking 2 or more bands, minimum per night. However i do have some clubs and sports bars that like a mixture of originals and cover music.

If you are willing to travel we'll be supporting that effort & make use of all resources available to meet your needs & desires. And if i can't supply what you need, i will try & find someone who can, & refer them to you! We all need a joint solidarity in working with & for each other to get our goals met! SO GEAR UP, CLIMB ABOARD, AND ENJOY THE RIDE! WE WILL! - LUV - LAURA - JUST A SIDE NOTE: please understand that most all venues stay booked 2 to 3 months in advance, so don't expect last minute dates to book easily. If i have a venue with a last minute opening i will post the info in a bulletin.
