About Me

Weekly Video Post for 10.29.07 The Love Lights record Halloween Ep!

Weekly Video Post for 10.15.07 O! Eidolon @ WWU Viking Union

Album Released!

$10 FREE SHIPPING! Problems & Solutions is the Love Lights first full-length record. The album was created at Actual Air Studio in Deming Washington, using guitars, basses, drums, synthesizers, trumpets, steel drums, saxophones, accordions, glockenspiels, french horns, sleigh bells, tambourines, shakers, maracas, hand claps, and lots of voices. Our good friends Peter and Diane lent their voices when all that wasn't enough. While we recorded it we ate pizzas, bean dip, chips, cookies, and drank water, coke, and beer. While we weren't playing, we read books, magazines, catalogues, played with dogs, and looked at Tim Brown's record collection. It was one of the most fun times we've all had in our entire lives (maybe that's why it took so long to record). We hope you have a good time listening to it. The Love Lights

My Interests

Music:

Band Website: myspace.com/thelovelights
Band Members: Rob Stauffer likes to sing and play guitar.
Ben Ballew likes to play guitar and keys while singing.
Jeff Ballew likes to play bass and sing along or play his french horn. Sometimes he plays ukulele with Ben, which makes people smile.
Alex O'Farrell likes to play drums while maintaining his status as the best looking member of the band after both Jeremiah and Jeff.
The Love Lights Orchestra:
Sarah "St. Lion" (Trumpet) likes to play the trumpet. Its a given. Sometimes she switches to keys so the rest of the band finds her more valuable.
Diana "Baramaphone" Dizard (Baritone Sax) can ride the sax. Please don't deny the power of a woman behind four feet of brass and wind.
Jeremiah "Jawesome" Austin (Trumpet) is a jazzy noodle maniac. word...

Influences: The Pepper Sisters, Big Fat Fish Co., Anthony's, La Fiamma, Fairhaven Pizza, Boomer's, Little Caesar's (c'mon, sometimes you don't got money), Casa De Sherri, La Vie En Rose, Le Chat Noir, Old Town Cafe, Espresso Avellino, The Bagelry, etc.
Sounds Like: Sounds like: a good fish taco, complete with a solid base of blackened fish, a nice layer of cabbage (or a fine cole slaw), and garnished with a fantastic mango salsa. All on two corn tortillas. Delicious!
Type of Label: None
