About Christopher Lee Donovan

Christopher Lee Donovan is a Photographer and Photoshop Artist working in the Boston area.
At 29 years old, CLD is driven by a creative passion for his artwork
for which he regularly reinvents himself to meet the challenges
of his commercial projects and his own artistic aspirations.
Much of his work begins with photography that is then digitally enhanced
and sometimes further embellished with traditional art materials.
The surrealist elements that sometimes adorn his work
began with an interest in fantasy and comic book artwork as a child.
He was encouraged by his parents at a young age to develop his art skills.
His mother encouraged his creative side by supporting his interest in drawing, music and photography
while his father challenged him to develop his technical precision and computer skills.
In 2001, his mother passed away after a long battle with breast cancer
and his father passed away shortly after developing a rare cancer in his chest.
Christopher attributes much of his success to their support and nurturing.
He is interested in a wide range of creative projects,
stretching from the everyday to the fantastic,
and approaches them all with equal care.
