Drawn to the sound of the kutt in the late 80's (1780's of course...;-) Iyney has been Djing now for 15 years, having delved into many a pie along the way his roots have been planted planted in Brighton where, as a member of The Raw Tribe Killas in the late 90's met with Junior Red, who along with producer Pablo and engineer extaordinaire Warwick are The Tek. The production of Double Czechin' and Rhymes of Debut 75 and Iyneys kutts are the sound of The Hypercondriacs ( Clever Looking) and with Dj/Producer Gpetz, Iyney is part of The Terrorwrists, a Dj duo focusing on using their turntablist skills to help forward the revolutionary message of artists such as Immortal Technique, Klashnekoff, Dead Prez, Lowkey, and any other artists who speak about the issues in todays society that are kept on the DL by the mainstream media (mad props to people like John Pilger who are stoic in their adherence to non conformist, investagative jolurnalism). Iyney has found that the vibrant scene in the Boogie Down B-Town encourages artists to follow their ambitions and flousishes with a constant stream of local and new talent. From Brighton Iyney decided to reach higher hights - literaly - after a successufl winter in the Alpine town of Chamonix and areturn to the UK for the summer months - Iyney is now back in the Alps this time bringing a host of talent out for gigs over the coming winter. Watch out for Skitz, Rodney P, Darrison, Die, MCD, White Rhino, Ed Solo and Junior Red touching down over the winter months......
