Giulia and the Dizzyness was born out of the fortunate meeting of three artists with a different music experience and sensitivity: the folk singer/songwriter Giulia Millanta, the talented and eclectic guitarist/arranger Giacomo (Pachi) Morandi and DJ/young producer Alberto Tucci.Giulia started to sing and play the guitar when she was very young. She’s always been kind of a gypsy, whose curiosity towards everything on earth lead her to travel, see, meet, know, listen, smell…and then write her own songs, to describe her inner world made up of dreams and visions.
Giacomo Morandi has always had a talent and passion for arranging and creating his own guitar sound and language, which he developed through different band experiences.
Alberto Tucci (aka Tuzzy) started his artistic career as a DJ, specialized in electronic music, with a wide experience in “clubbingâ€, producing and managing. These three different artists and personalities gave birth to “Giulia and the Dizzyness after the Alpha_decayâ€.What was already clear in our minds became an album of nocturnal and shady atmosphere able to deeply touch the listener’s soul, thanks to the lyrics and superlative voice of Giulia Millanta, the wide-sounding guitar of Pachi, and the delicate programming of Tuzzy.The album also features contributions by young drummer Donald Renda (from Cayo Rosso), bass player Michele Vitulli (from Articolo 31), Ettore Bonfafè on vibes and percussions, Mario Arcari (who also played with Fossati and De Andrè) on wooden winds, Matteo Addabbo (on Hammond and Rhodes).Enjoy it...
