From his humble beginnings as a Pittsburgh youth serving as a missionary, to his endless hours of community involvement as a member of the Miami Dolphins, Jason Taylor has always given something of himself to those less fortunate.So it came as no surprise in July 2004 when Taylor and his wife, Katina, established The Jason Taylor Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization. The Foundation’s mission is to support and create programs that facilitate the personal growth and empowerment of South Florida’s children in need by focusing on improved health care, education and quality of life.Through a series of special events and fundraising efforts, The Jason Taylor Foundation plans to lend a helping hand to other charitable organizations dedicated to supporting the area’s young people.
