Redemption 87

We've been dealt a plague of the worst kind!

About Me

There is a man, you may know him. His name is Lars Frederiksen. He knows people. And sometimes, he brings these people he knows together. He brought a few people together in the mid-90s, they started playing music. Lars always wanted a band called Redemption 77. These people he brought together werent interested in redeeming 77 though. They had their sights on 87. when hardcore was in its lean, mean fightin prime. Bands like YOUTH OF TODAY, GORILLA BISCUITS, and BOLD were, as they say, kickin out the jams. So the 77 was replaced with 87. and at a time when hardcore was but a faint emory, especially in glorious Northern California, Redemption 87 unleashed their assault of good old fashion hardcore on the unexpected masses. As with most machines that run full-bore with little regard for rest, Redemption 87 eventually combusted. But, now, so many years later, for two nights and two nights only, a generation of kids raised on mere stories and photos of this mighty band can see the real thing with their own, pure, yet-jaded eyes.

A.F.I.

To everybody who bashes A.F.I. now just because they are big... Stop. It's annoying. Just because a band's big and can mature doesn't mean you should hate on them. As long as a band makes good musi...
