SIMON BOOKISH
SIMON BOOKISH is the alter-ego of composer Leo Chadburn. Tired of the dogma of the classical music scene, he concentrated on his own unconventional laptop-programming and vocals to produce his first spectacularly dramatic tracks as Simon Bookish. Impossible to classify, being neither bona-fide performance artist nor pop-star poseur, he gained notoriety for his exuberant live performances and has provided eccentric remixes for Scottish pop sensations Franz Ferdinand, New Yorkers Grizzly Bear and The Organ to great acclaim and surprise.
UNFAIR/FUNFAIR is an intensely strange and uncannily intense collection of dysfunctional pop songs; literate, bizarre and full of black humour.

COREY DARGEL
New York based composer/performer COREY DARGEL creates deceptively simple and achingly vulnerable art-pop. His intelligent and gentle assault on the pop song creates a tension which pervades the music; deadpan and detached vocals reveal heartbreaking intimacies, awkward and obtrusive drum patterns struggle against fragile harmonies, vocals and music sitting uneasily together as songs stumble to their end.
His debut release, LESS FAMOUS THAN YOU, is a collection of songs about falling in love with famous (or semi-famous) people.
