Brent Gorski

Brent Gorski is a writer/actor originally from Cincinnati, Ohio. He recently wrote and co-produced the feature film Holding Trevor. Set in Los Angeles, the film follows Trevor Holden on his cynical journey of self-exploration as he tries to cope with romance, friends, and everything in between—A sort of “Reality Bites” from the vantage point of a young gay protagonist. Gorski, himself, stars as the title character in Holding Trevor.
Currently, Gorski is working as an actor and developing numerous script ideas for film and television in Los Angeles. His acting career began years ago on the stage, where he has had the opportunity to perform in various theaters around the world, including the U.S., Germany, and Japan. As a teenager, Gorski majored in theatre at the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio. He followed that up with a two-year stint at the University of Cincinnati’s arts conservatory, CCM. Upon leaving college he headed to Los Angeles where he moved from stage to film.
Gorski can be seen in the independent short films NIGHTSHADOWS, FAST TIMES AT HERO HIGH, and BEYOND THIS PLACE as well as the upcoming feature films HOLDING TREVOR and THE TRUTH ABOUT ANGELS.
Gorski's stage credits include MACBETH and TARTUFFE at the Aronoff Center in Cincinnati, Ohio and SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION, THE VIETNAM PROJECT, and ORCHARDS at the University of Cincinnati, CCM.
NOTE: Holding Trevor, opened to rave reviews at San Francisco’s International LGBT Film Festival, Frameline31 and has since screened at more than 25 festivals worldwide, including Outfest07 in Los Angeles and the Philadelphia International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. The film was acquired by Here Films/Regent Releasing in 2007 and is set to be released throughout select U.S. theaters in July 2008. And through various other distribution companies, Holding Trevor will also be released in Germany, France, and the UK during the summer of 2008.
