I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Lets see, excentric, odd, weird about covers what my family say about me. As for my friends, you really don't want to know!!I write www.lairofthereddragon.co.uk (needs updating)I paint www.pet-artist.co.uk (comissions taken for pet portraits).

My Interests

Writing, painting, reading, listening to music and talking to myself, oh and running round the house like a headless chicken most of the time.

I'd like to meet:

First and foremost Hil - one day girl. Then again there are all my other friends from far off corners that I intend to meet when I go on that worldwide book signing tour (really need to get off here and write it). I have to say that there are no famous people I would like to meet for fear of them turning out to be morons!!!!

Music:

HIM, MCR, AFI,SLF (What is it with me and acronyms). The Used (better now Hil?) Alkaline Trio, Billy Talent, TMTCH, Fuel, The Sons, Dropkick Murphys, Biffy Clyro although I could go on and bore you all rigid, I will say owt that is good.

Movies:

Angelheart, POTC 1+ 2(actually 3 isn't bad), Highlander, Top Secret, Interview with a vampire, Dracula (Gary Oldman). Lost boys (noticing a theme here?)

Television:

Ultraviolet, Buffy, Angel (see its that theme again). Dr Who, Torchwood, Heroes, Stargate and just to be different Midsomer Murders.

Books:

Jim Butcher 'Harry Dresden' books, LOTR, Laurell Hamilton's 'Anita Blake' (up to 13 where it turned into soft porn). Poppy Brite, Patrick Suskind's 'Perfume'. HP Lovecraft, Edgar Allen Poe, gothic horror in general, reference books galore on Vampires, werewolves and other nasties.

Heroes:

Is it wrong of me to not have heroes. I have people I admire, people I look up to but it doesnt seem right to call them heroes.
