My name is Sally. I run the web / blog zine Subcultural Pink Bits . I created it in February 2007 and it focuses on subcultural girls. Check it out.
I have a boyfriend named Rob . We started going out in February '06... then broke up for awhile... now we are back together and better than ever. Anything worth having is worth going through the bad times for. He makes me really happy, and i feel so fucking lucky to have him in my life.
I am a feminist. I think about gender relations and representations A LOT.
I'm obsessed with Elvis.
I work as a shop assistant in a bakery.

My Interests

Music, especially punk and psychobilly. Feminism , alternative fashion, makeup, playing my nintendo DS (especially super princess peach! ♥)

Also, Stephy Wilecat... we've seen each other grow up and evolve... gotta meet in Sydneh town!

Music:

My favourite band is The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster. Other favourites are: Le Tigre, Robots In Disguise, Gossip, Zombie Ghost Train, Nekromantix, Elvis Presley, Demented Are Go and lately The Monsters and Tegan and Sara. I enjoy lots of different bands.

Movies:

Lots. Mainly black comedies, Tim Burton movies, John Waters movies, Elvis movies... as well as comedies usually containing Vince Vaughn or Seth Rogen. Honourable mentions:amelie, american splendor, clockwork orange, cry baby, grease, hairspray, napoleon dynamite, nightmare before christmas, swingers.

Television:

Comedies. Kids TV shows. I'm over crime scene shows- except Wire In The Blood and Law and Order: Criminal Intent (but only with Goren!)Those worth mentioning: black books, bottom, daria, degrassi (both original series and next generation), fairly odd parents, freaks and geeks, the IT crowd, men behaving badly, the mighty boosh, my name is earl, nathan barley, the young ones.

Books:

Feminist literature. Favourite books of the moment are Prozac Nation and Female Chauvinist Pigs.
