Who am I? I'm a husband,father,brother and son.Music is my life - The Beatles and jazz are the first forms of music I remember hearing around the house as a little kid.At age 12 I started playing the drums and started a band with my older brother.That lasted about a year and then I met some kids my own age who turned me on to the Mighty Black Sabbath.We must have covered every Sabbath song right up to Mob Rules with Dio.From there it was onto many local Boston bands,some heavy,some not.Wretched Grace,Mortimer Penguin,Stormwindow,Fleshflower,King's of Feedback,Grasshopper and 13 Colors of Ugly to name a few.I ended up in an a band called Mindflow,did some DIY tours,and had a good time doing it.Once my first daughter was born it was time to make some career changes and stay closer to home.For the past 7 years I have been in the classic Southern Rock cover band,Southbound.They formed in 1982 and are still going at it.A few ago I pulled into a local blues jam and after one thing leading to another I ended up getting a lot of sub work with local acts.Last year was my busiest playing around 90 dates with many different bands.Lately I have been playing with Basic Black,an upbeat blues,motown,R&B band.It's funny looking back to when I was playing Metal,with a 7 pc drumset and cymbals everywhere to playing most of the blues gig with kickdrum,snare and a couple cymbals.
