Viva La Terrance: Imagination is the one weapon in the war against reality.

About Me

Born in Phoenix, Arizona where I grew up as a kid playing in the sonoran desert! Raised in Metlakatla, Alaska where I was brought up by a community!
A graphic designer by trade, a photographer by heart, a dj with passion! It's all about the now and who, what, where, when, and how I surround myself. I come from a beautiful family where the word "love" is used, there are no "goodbyes" only "I love you."
I can't remember who told me that I didn't have enough risk in my life! Everyday is a risk, I know what I want, I do what I want, I get what I want, no questions asked!
I'm a big supporter of the local music scene which is rich and unique. Phoenix has it's own sound and the local bands have the sound down.
Art is my passion when it comes to supporting local artists. For those that frequent downtown Phoenix every "First Friday" you can catch me walking around on the artwalk.
Photography is my current love. Light can make or change your perspective when coming to capture a image. If you know your aperture or shutter settings life is so much simple!
Music is my soul in life, since the days of studying different microphone techniques, trying to capture the perfect track, I've learned to mix, sample, record. Once I was a dj, twice I've been. I recently went back to my roots, and now have a digital library of sounds recorded from vinyl thanks to a fellow dj for letting me borrow and sample his collection.
I come from four aspects of culture, three being native american and one being of irish decent. TSIMSHIAN/TOHONO O'ODHAM/AKIMEL AU-AUTHM/IRISH. Through the Tsimshian I've learned the arts from the northwest territories in Alaska, and Bristish Columbia, Canada areas. Currently I've cross-cultured my heritages and combined the arts and adapted into more of the contemporary style of the arts. It has more of a modern feel attracting a younger generation who can appreciate these styles. I still practice the tradition style of the arts, but with modern times you got to get in where you fit in, and I've found my niche, my meaning of creating art. Visually my concepts, my ideas, I am able to create on paper, and with technology I can create more than I have ever dreamed of.

My Interests

Photography, Design, Art, Music. These are my passions, these are what consume my time.

Art, fashion, music, photography, pubs, clubs, local shows, equals goodtimes. Beauty is my only weakness, it comes in many forms, shapes and sizes and all these break down into my fortress of solitude Ive manage to maintain until recently. Music has always been my first love in life. Art is my second passion in life. Photography is a lust I've manage to capture in still life. Someday it would be nice to share these with someone who can see me for who I am, and what I do.

I'd like to meet:

IRA HAYES
GERONIMO
COCHISE

Despite the fact they now only exist in memories, in stories, in movies, these three men are tied directly into my bloodline! Throughout Indigenous Country we are all related one way or another. We are people of the land and sea. We hold and carry on traditions that have been with us from generation to generation. Heritage and Culture is key to survival!

People who know of musical genres, the difference of the many types of electronica, enjoy glamour, fashion and fabulousness. Know f-stops, aperture, shutter speeds, also know the difference between CMYK and RGB. Know of useless humor and randomness of funny antics and craziness of frantic laughter. Who can put up with me no matter what has been said, what has been done, what will be said, what will be done. This I am, if you like it, you like it, if you don't will it was nice meeting you! Impressions are everlasting memories sustained in my soul. Here is a little something that remains so true to my heart! ::IMPRESSIONS::
Sometimes I catch that perfect glimpse
of a moment caught in time.
I see perfection in the past
And a beauty so sublime.
The flawless wisdom of our birthright
Great Spirit must have known
That I would be the writer
And you, My friend, the poem!

My father: no man or woman can compare, no man or woman can match, no man or woman can cross his path when it comes to speaking with my father. Just being in his presence brings everlasting divine and power that is breath-taking alone. Someday I'll be put into this path and continue on where he left off as he did when my grandfather left.

My Mother: my inspiration, my heart, my courage, my hope. The one that holds me when I am weak, is there for me when I am in doubt. Gentle, kind, sweet, loving, brilliant, beautiful, bold, risky. She always knows what to say when needed to be said!
