About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6 !
I look like Tina Fey (she's my girl!) mixed with a smidgen of Salma Hayek (I wish!), a pinch of Catherine Zeta-Jones (see: Salma comment), and a tangible version of Daria(complete with glasses and combat boots). I don't like pina coladas (I'm a Smirnoff Ice/Triple Black/Bacardi 03...), but I DO like getting caught in the rain. It's liberating, and can be a romantic and/or bonding experience if shared with the right person. I am a SUCKER for glamour Hollywood musicals and b&w films, esp. film noir. Gene Kelly, Humphrey Bogart, Charlie Chaplin, and James Dean are my favorite "old school" actors. I am the biggest nerd EVER b/c my idea of "perfection" is curling up with pretzels or ice cream, watching presidential debates (yay Republicans, although right now, I'm disgruntled...) with my significant other and discussing/debating them afterwards. Or being surprised by "someone special" with tickets to the musical in town or the Shakespeare Tavern...and him enjoying them along with me, and talking about them over milkshakes at Steak N Shake or Waffle House afterwards. Or curling up on the couch with popcorn and ice cream watching old movies and musicals. (Corny, I know....). In case you haven't been able to tell, theatre is my life, my dream. I MUST make it to Broadway or else I will leave this life unfulfilled. How tragic it is to never achieve one's dreams. I have danced for 8 years, taken voice lessons for 7, and been acting since 6th grade. I graduated in December 2006 with Summa Cum Laude recognition. I earned my Telecommunications major, English minor. In my non-existent spare time, I act, sing, dance, write poetry and short stories, attend plays, see movies, shop, hang out with friends, and nurse my oft-broken heart.

My Interests

acting/theatre, musical theatre, singing, dancing, movies, music, writing poetry & short stories, shopping, pop culture, Texas Hold 'Em, concerts, crossword puzzles, word searches

On MySpace or in RealSpace? Past, present, or future? Fiction or nonfiction? I will not answer until this ambiguity is resolved....But seriously. If you find me on here and you want to be my Friend, message me first. It's the least you can do. And if you write something like, "You're hot, we should hook up," I will automatically deny you, not because you are pathetic or a jerk (for why should I waste time stating the obvious?), but simply because I already know I am hot, and you would have shown me not a speck of cleverness or ingenuity, and therefore, I would have no use for you.

I left my heart in San Francisco, but I need to know the way to San Jose. God, I love L.A.

Hey, all! I will be in California (for my stalkers see: Specific cities in Subject line) from June 26-July 5. I will occasionally be able to log on and my cell phone will still work, just in case anyo...

It is a sad day in the world when one is denied the giving of a hug. It is even sadder for the one who denied it.   ...Or is it?
