The next gathering is the "Mayan Goddess Summer Solstice Tour". The event will occur during the summer solstice June 19th- June 22nd.If you cannot make this event we will be having another during the week of the Autumn Equinox September 22
We believe that our planet and our human species are at a critical juncture in its history. The ancient Mayans knew this and predicted many events surrounding 2012. Unfortunately, without the wisdom of the ancient Mayan Shamans that we have on our team, there have been some who have created dire predictions for 2012. This has created fear in the hearts of many. Our goal is to offer an experience that will allow our guests the opportunity to learn from experts the true meaning of the anthropological, astronomical and cultural impact 2012 will have on earth and us as human beings. We believe once our guests understand the truth of the ancient ones, they will move out of fear and into the light of love and peace and realize this is the most exciting time to be alive in the history of our species.
The event will take place on Cozumel Island, in Mexico; Cozumel is a small island in the Mexican Caribbean. It is located approximately 50 miles south of Cancun, Mexico and 12 miles by ferry ride from Playa del Carmen to the island. Cozumel has an International Airport and there are daily flights from the USA via American, US Airways, Mexicana, Continental and Frontier airlines. There are also many flights into Cancun and it is an easy trip from Cancun to Cozumel. Guests will be picked up and taken to private cabins on the deserted side of the island where we have a special permit to hold retreat centers. Vegetarian meals will be provided upon arrival along with an information kit which will explain all the events, their significance, a question and answer section and other helpful information about your visit.
We believe the human species and our evolution are at a vortex of change unlike any in our history. The ancient Mayans, who were meticulous timekeepers, knew this and left markers for our generation to recognize the shifts that would be occurring. We want to act as facilitators of transformation for anyone who is ready to be fully aware of the potential for living in an entirely new dimension of existence, by providing them with practical tools that they can take back into their lives and create a new reality here on earth, now. We are light beings who want to spread love and light to all who come and join us on this adventure.
We start the event on the 19th with a pick up at the airport and then off to a welcome vegetarian meal and an orientation at a private beach on the deserted side of the island at a private retreat center. Then on the 20th, we to start the day with a sunrise yoga session to usher in the solstice, then after a veggie meal we’re off to San Gervasio to do some further healing, smudging ceremonies at the site with our Shaman, and start the process of going over the significance of the structures and the site and the history of Ixchel. Then veggie lunch back at private beach. Some healing therapies that guests choose, massage on a massage table on the beach with the sound of the waves – or whatever they want/need. Then Temezacal to usher in and honor the solstice at night. Then back to the beach cabins for sleep. Next day more of the same at San Gervasio and more healing therapies for guests. Next day is travel day – or optional 2 day trip to Chitzen Itza where we would have another Mayan Shaman lead the sessions. We have a private retreat center for our guests to sleep and stay – so we can keep them in our bubble of love and protection.
IxChel is the Maya Goddess of the Moon, Water, Weaving and Childbirth. IxChel in Her main form as Mother Goddess and Weaver who set the Universe in motion; and the Young Moon Goddess, with Her totem animal the rabbit.IxChel is a great Water Goddess, the consort of the chief God of the Maya pantheon, Votan. Her name means "Lady Rainbow", and She is said to have founded the city of Palenque at the command of the Gods. She is a Weaver Goddess, whose whirling drop spindle is said to be at the center of the motion of the Universe. She has many aspects and titles, such as Ix Kanleom, the "Spider's Web Catching the Morning Dew", and Ix Chebal Yax. Her Nahua (Mexican/Aztec) counterpart is said to be Chalchiuhtlicue.Chak Chel, "Great (or Red) Rainbow" is the Goddess who brings about the destruction of the third creation by causing a great flood. By pouring the waters from Her jar, She prepared the way for the next age, known in Maya legend as the Fourth Sun. She is shown as an old midwife, for experienced elderly women helped younger women to give birth, and were traditionally caretakers of children. Chak Chel also helped the Maize God to be reborn, and helped in the birth of His own sons. The Young Moon Goddess may have originally been a different Goddess of the Moon who was later absorbed into IxChel's legend. She is often depicted with a rabbit, for the Maya, like the Chinese, saw a rabbit in the markings on the face of the Moon. She is said to be of a merry and somewhat loose character, and rabbits are also famed for their reproductive abilities. She (as IxChel) had a great shrine on the island of Cozumel to which pilgrims came from all over. The crescent-shaped chair on which She sits is the Maya glyph for the Moon, Her symbol.
