I am on a journey to the land of me- a place of true solace, and riotous laughter, filled with amazing experiences and emotion in its truest sense. It has been a long road, but for some reason, the biggest bumps seem more manageable, and as I continue on this trek, I find that my smiles are longer lasting, my breathing is fuller, and my heart is more fervent. Defeat is beginning to seem impossible as I have finally FINALLY begun to love this journey- with all of its unexpected turns, setbacks and falls, for now I remember that the voyage of a thousand miles starts with a single step. I joyfully move forward, yearning to hear my beautiful soul's voice, and knowing fully that I know nothing at all, embracing that void with open arms and widening my eyes to see the goodness in all things. May I keep on this path- the wants of others have delayed my parting too long, and I've wearied of the commonality of my former self, and while the newness of the unknown is unsettling, the vibration within its seams is somehow lulling and leads me on. Any travellers I find on this journey are most welcome- a walk is nothing without the guidance of friends and loved ones, and maybe, just maybe, we'll be on this journey together forever. But if not, know that you have made an indelible footprint in my conscious, no matter how brief our encounter.
