Everyone on my music list, I love musicians.
Also I would love to have a conversation with Jean Paul Sartre; he was a genius of our generation and I am an Existentialist to the core.

I love many different kinds of music and hate being pigeon-holed into a particular genera "punk" or "metal" or whatever, it's stupid and limiting. People should like the music they like because they like it, not to try and fit in with a certain crowd, or not like something because other people say it sucks. Music is not about that, it is about personal expression, and if something makes you happy or helps you through a rough time then that is truly what music is about! That being said, I still believe in artistic integrity and the musician's responsibility to the audience. People who do not play or write, or nowdays even sing, thier own songs are not grasping the concept of music, they are simply trying to capitalize from a particular genre and exploit music lovers to make a profit. The market is oversaturated with these people, the Ashlee Simpsons and Paris Hiltons of the world, should be STOPPED and no longer allowed to assult our ears with their overproduced and overmarketed, money grabbing garbage!

I have recently started a new book, Haunted by Chuck Palahniuk and, I may go so far as to say that it is the BEST book I have ever read to date in my life. This is no small claim either, as I am a fairly seasoned reader, having read many books from every genre. Haunted is the only book that as I am reading it I am actually cringing and covering my eyes, only to find that the pictures being produced are in my imagination. It is so dark, disturbing, and down right frightening, but above all it is highly entertaining. If you only read one book in your life, make it this one, you won't be disappointed. But be warned, it is not for the faint of heart!
Blue Gold, by Maude Barlow and Tony Clark, is an EXCELLENT book about the water crisis that Earth will be facing in its very near future and what we can do about it... if you get the chance read this book! It will change your life!
I'm an English major, if you haven't been able to guess, so I am constantly reading something...
Some of my all-time faves from before include:
All Anne Rice vampire novels.
Edgar Allan Poe.
Anything that is True Crime.
No Logo by Naomi Klein.
Bram Stoker's Dracula.
Ovid's Metamorphoses.
Pat Barker's Regeneration.
Ronald Wright's A Short history Of Progress.
George Orwell's 1984
Heroes? Pah! I don't have an heroes, I live life according to me!...So I'll put some interesting quotations here instead:
"The exclusive worship of the bitch-goddess, success, is our national disease"
- William James.
"By morality the individual is taught to become a function of the herd and to ascribe to himself value only as a function... Morality is the herd instinct in the individual."
- Friedrich Nietzsche.
"Life is not fair, and it's a good thing for most of us that it is not."
- Oscar Wilde
