DUFRESNE BIOGRAPHY:
With pulverising instrumentals and a band name inspired by Tim Robbins’ role in The Shawshank Redemption, Dufresne are an anomaly in the Italian music scene.
"Nobody seems to understand what’s happening in Italy; many bands have a strange sound but are huge in other countries are unknow in Italy"
The five-piece are loking to expand beyond the abnormal fame game of their native country with the international release of debut, blingual album ’Atlantic’.
"When we started the project it was just for fun, you know? it wasn’t meant to be a serious band."
Fun or not these punks have gained the steam since forming two years ago, having played the Taste Of Chaos tour in Italy.
"We hope that some kids can see his life in our lyrics ad can connect with that, that’s our goal as a band"
