I've been climbing most of my life until I lost my leg to cancer, than I skied competitively for six years. I decided I should Telemark ski because everyone told me that would be impossible with an above knee amputation. I tried it and they were right. It was impossible, so I designed and built a specialized knee that made it possible and I became the first AK amputee telemark skier in the world.
When summer came around I tried climbing with the XT9 Knee and found that it worked very well. I'm selling my prosthetics now and it makes me very happy when amputees send me videos and pictures of them doing things that I was told would never be possible at the time I chose to have my leg amputated because of cancer.
My vision is to REVOLUTIONIZE the world of prosthetics! I want to design and build prosthetics that will make everything possible for amputees do like anyone else.
Cheers!
