Gil

I don't believe in Beatles, I just believe in me.

About Me

David Hasselhoff is the coolest man alive. Don't mess with The Hoff. He's pure cheese, but he embraces it.
I used to work for the Democratic Party, then I went into the soul-slurping world of high-powered political fundraising, then I went to law school. (Class of 2007, baby.)
Secret of the day: When I was really, really young, in the mid-'80s, at the height of "Thriller"-mania, my mom signed me up for breakdancing lessons at the St. Louis Academy of Dance from a Michael Jackson impersonator. And, oh yeah, I had the red zipper-y jacket and one glittery white glove, too. While I haven't had the opportunity (or cojones) to moonwalk in the last 20 years, I still dream of a society based on the moral foundations of "Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo."

I can list obscure facts about all of the Vice Presidents, so you just *know* I'm super-hip, right? Right??

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Fun, cool people.
And MC Hammer. Yeah. that'd be nice.

I *would* say The Hoff, but I already met him in a hotel in Hawaii, back in the day. We rode in an elevator together. He declined to call KITT from his watch.
I also met Dr. Ruth in Ben-Gurion airport in Israel around 1990. She commented that my younger sister Orli was cute. (She was only a couple of years old at the time.)
I am also interested in meeting Maury Povich, just to tell him that he IS NOT THE FATHER. Cuz a baby mama gottst to know.

Music:

You can usually find me rockin' out to New Kids on the Block --- NKOTB to the masses, fool. Not really.

Movies:

Coming to America, The Godfather, James Bond movies, Clue, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Gandhi, The American President, Princess Bride, Shawshank Redemption, Dave, Back to the Future Part II, The Manchurian Candidate (1962), Office Space....

Television:

Law & Order(s), Arrested Development, How I Met Your Mother, The West Wing (the Sorkin years), Alias, The Amazing Race, Smallville, The Office, Meet the Press, The Practice, Simpsons, and too much C-SPAN to be considered healthy.

Books:

To Kill a Mockingbird, One Night Stands With American History, Agatha Christie's Ten Little Indians, .... Definitely not on this list: law school textbooks.
